Leavenworth Golf Club would like to wish all the Mothers out there the most wonderful Mothers Day of all today.  Here is something I found that I think a lot of us can relate to that was written by Jessica Booth:

It’s Mother’s Day, the time when we all reflect on our relationships with our mothers and think about the things we wish we had told our moms by now. Most of us didn’t grow up with our mom as our best friend, like, say, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. Few mother-daughter teams out there have that kind of perfect relationship (mainly because it’s a TV show and it’s not real, but I digress). A lot of of us grew up in an intense love-hate relationship with our moms, much like the very relatable relationship between Tami and Julie Taylor. We fought with her constantly, we struggled to have power over her, and we ignored the wonderful things she did for us even though it made us feel like crap.

As sad as it is to think about, there will be a day when your mom isn’t around to hear the things you want to tell her. Don’t wait that long to let her know how much you love and appreciate her!

Look no further than this years Leavenworth Ladies Alpine Invitational.  A fun filled day of wonderful golf at the most majestic golf course in Central Washington.  Plus an added bonus of a free practice round to have even more fun.  There is a wide variety of fun tournament formats including Closest to the Pin and Long Drive contests.  If that wasn’t enough for you then we will throw in the best continental breakfast in town at The Wild Huckleberry and a variety of salads for lunch.  You are probably telling yourself there can’t be more fun.  But wait!  You also have chances to win fun filled gift baskets with the purchase of a raffle ticket.  Prize money you can spend at the Pro Shop.  Lots of laughs, memories and stories to last a lifetime.  So go get those entry forms filled out and turned in today.

Only 17 days left until this years Bavarian Invitational.  Don’t let another year slip by without playing in this fantastic tournament.  Lots of good prizes this year thanks to many wonderful and giving sponsors.  We have extended the entry deadline so get down to our Pro Shop for an entry form to guarantee yourself a great weekend of golf with good friends.
